What is Guinea Pig Survivors?

It is Blocksmith's 2022 Hour of Code and the world's first action-coding game!

Practice iterative design, coding, and survival strategies all at the same time with our homage to the highly popular indie game Vampire Survivors.

The game starts deceptively simple. You need to dodge the incoming Guinea Pigs while the Bot you program feeds them. After being fed, they drop happy hearts that unlock further coding opportunities and upgrades.

As an educator, encourage students to discuss different upgrade strategies, and enjoy an hour of unheard of coding fun in your classroom as students chase for new highscores.

Find Guinea Pig Survivors on code.org

  1. Go to https://code.org/learn

  2. Select the "Created by" dropdown in the left panel.

  3. In the "Created by" dropdown select Blocksmith, Inc.
