Collaborate

You can work on an experience with a friend by using the collaboration option when sharing it with them.

Collaboration Requirements

• The experience needs to be saved.

• Both accounts need to have a verified email address.

• Pro Tip: Do not work on the same experience at the same time. It could result in one user overriding the work of the other when they save.
  -> Instead take turns working on the experience, with one collaborator informing the other when they have finished an update, ideally with update notes.

How to Collaborate

1. Save the experience you want to work on with a friend.

2. In the Save Successful window, find the Share with Friends section.

3. Input the username of the friend's account you want to collaborate with, then press Add.

4. Choose the Collaborate option in the first menu of the popup window:

5. Choose a quick message to inform your friend of the shared project. They will receive that message in an email, along with a notification that you shared the experience with them.

6. Inform your friend that you have shared the file with them (they will also receive an email telling them). When they sign into the Builder, they should open the Load window.

7. In the Load window, they should open Shared with me to load the experience:

From there, they can work on the experience and then save it. When they save, the experience owner will receive a message that their project has been collaborated on.

You can also transfer ownership of the experience if you want.
