How to Remove Media from your Account

All Blocksmith users have a media quota that depends on your subscription. If you fill your media quota and have no space left to upload new media files, then you can remove old media files from your account Dashboard. Or you can upgrade to a Pro account to have 5GB of storage space!

To remove media from your account:

1. Open your account's My Media tab on the Dashboard:

2. Choose the media files you would like to remove from the list:

3. See the media file size, and when ready, press the Delete button to remove that media file from your account:

You will gain the amount of memory shown on the media file when it is removed. In the case above, the user would gain 163.1kB of space.

Warning: If you remove media files used in existing experiences, those media references will be lost and the media will not play/appear in those projects.

Pro Tips:

1. Media files like 360 images, 360 videos, and imported 3D models can take up a lot of space depending on how large/complex they are.
2. Blocksmith Library sound files do not take up any quota space.
3. The more media you add to an experience, the longer the load time will be.
