Updating Live Experiences

When you have a app or experience that your clients or users are actively using it is not recommended to edit the live version. You want to thoroughly test your experiences to ensure there are no bugs or problems your users will encounter before publishing a new version.

To do this you can create a remix of your experience by:

1. Opening your experience
2. Go to File -> Save As
3. Give your experience a new name to easily find it later
4. Press Save

Now that you have your remix you can make changes to it without worrying about breaking the experience for your live viewers. Once you've made your changes and tested it on your desired devices you can save over your original experience.

Save over an experience by:

1. Open the experience you want to be live
2. Go to File -> Save As
3. Select the "Save over existing" checkbox
4. Select live experience
5. Verify naming is correct
6. Press Save

Your experience is now updated! If you accidently saved over the wrong experience don't worry! Log into your account dashboard on the web and find the experience. Select versions and delete the latest version. This also is helpful if you accidently save over a live experience too soon.
