Using Snap Points

Snapping Shapes Together

Any shape can be quickly aligned with another shape using Snap Points! There are three ways that snap points can be used to move shapes together:

1. Move and Snap

Press the Spacebar with an object selected to enable Snap Points. Then move the selected object towards another object in the scene and a snap preview will appear when they touch. Let go of the selected shape to confirm the snap!

2. Precision Snapping

Press the Spacebar with an object selected to enable Snap Points. Drag a snap point towards another object to see a snap preview. Let go of the snap point when the preview looks good to snap the objects together.

3. Scale snapping

Press the Spacebar with an object selected to enable Snap Points. Then use a scale handle to resize the object towards another object. When the snap points of the two objects touch a snap preview will appear. Let go of the scale handle to complete the scale snap.
