Major Features

We have just released the new 5.6 Builder! This is a huge update with many new features and improvements! See the Full Release Notes for more details or Download the Builder to try it for yourself.

• Massive Template expansion: There is a new Template screen with 50+ new scene templates! Look for the Pencil icon in the Load and Template windows to know if an experience is a template.

• Customizable access to new workspaces: The updated Load window gives you easy access to the new “games” and “sampleprojects” workspaces. These feature fully curated content from the Blocksmith team.
  We also have a new feature for Legal Guardians and Teachers to customize access to the new workspaces without having to “link” their software, making this feature much easier to use.

• Easier Premium Experience access: Premium educational experiences are easier to add and view than ever before! With an active subscription, you can access the premiumexperiences workspace. You can not only view Premium experiences on it, but you can also use their templates and models as well!

• 3D Model Export: Workspaces are full of 3D models which can now be downloaded in GLTF format and used in other software like Unity3D and Unreal Engine.

• Follow your favorite workspaces: You can now follow other workspaces for more templates and models. You can configure your own workspace to allow others to join and use what you created.

• Powerful new Quest Hub: Curriculum Quests can now be added directly in the new Quest Hub for added simplicity.

• Redesigned 3D Viewer menu: the 3D menu in the VR Viewers has been overhauled to be much smoother and faster for users.
