How to Setup your Hub

Congratulations on purchasing a Blocksmith subscription! Make sure to finish setting up your hub so students can create accounts, receive licenses, access the Builder, and use curriculum.

Admin Setup

1. Skip this step if you have already created groups (aka classes) with licenses.
Setup groups to organize students and assign licenses.
Assign licenses to groups so students can receive their Blocksmith Creator license benefits like access to curriculum, collaboration, cloud storage, and more.

2. Add curriculum Courses to your Hub from the Content Library.

3. Assign Courses to groups, or automatically assign them to all students in Course Management Settings.

4. Want to require students' first and last names, or their emails when they sign up? Review and change students' signup options in Signup Settings or see more info here.

5. Download the XR Builder and Viewer apps on your devices.

Get Your Students Started

1. Have your students create Blocksmith accounts on your Hub homepage or select Request Access on the homepage if they already have an account.

2. When they sign up, students will send an Access Request to join your hub. Accept their request to make them a member of your hub. Then add them to a group after accepting their request to quickly organize them, provide licenses, and assign Courses.

3. Have students download and install the XR Builder app on PC's or Macs, or use the online Web Builder on Chromebooks.
