Mac: Updating the Builder

Yay! A new update has arrived and your Builder is showing a blue "Update available" button in the top bar. Click on it to find out what the update includes and if you want to install it.

Updates work several ways for software installed outside the Store; here are detailed instructions for Blocksmith updates:

1. In the update window, click "OK" to download it. After it downloads, choose "Install Now". If you choose to install Later, then follow these steps the next time you open the Builder.
2. The Builder will close and start extracting the downloaded file automatically. Wait until the updated Builder is extracted.
3. It will open the Builder Update folder when finished.
4. Drag the Builder icon from the update folder and drop it at the location of the current Builder app.
   -> For example, if you current Builder app is in Applications, drag and drop the updated Builder app into Applications.
5. Choose "Replace" when prompted.
6. It is now safe to delete the zip file remaining in the download folder, to preserve space.
7. Open the newly updated Builder app from where you replaced it.
