Adding Teachers to a Hub

Teachers can be added to a hub two different ways, depending on if they've created a free Blocksmith account.

Already Created a Blocksmith Account

If the teacher has already created a Blocksmith account, they can be added to a hub in three simple steps:

  1. The Hub Admin needs to sign into their hub and open their Manage page.
  2. Then the Hub Admin must open the Members & Groups page and add the teacher's account name:


  1. Then promote their account to a Hub Manager using the kebab menu next to their name:



Still Needs A Blocksmith Account

If they have not signed up for a free Blocksmith account, they should do the following steps:

  1. The teacher should visit your hub homepage and Sign Up for an account in the top right corner.
    Example URL: https://<yourhubname>.blocksmithxr.com/
  2. The Hub Admin must approve hub access for that new account. This is the same process as approving students' access requests.
